v Fishing - “Les pecheurs ardechoise” in the area of Montselgues
v Rivers - locally: L'Ardeche, La Beaume, Chassezac and La Rhone
v Canoeing - the famous Pont d'Arc or navigate a local river; the Chassezac
v Grottos - the prehistoric grotto “Grotte des Huguenots” or “Grotte de la Madeleine” one of the most beautiful caves in the whole of France
v Walking - in the local vineyards, alongside the rivers and up in the mountains
v Villages - there are several villages of character nearby: Ruoms, Balazuc, Labeaume, Thines, Vogue and Les Vans are too name just a few
v Horse riding - from 1 hour to several day excursions crossing local rivers
v Restaurants - 2 local eating establishments in Rosieres, 5 or 6 in Joyeuse and a superb local Restaurant up in the hills, that serves typical Ardechoise food
